Do the Best That You Can
Do not focus on the outcome, which you can't control. Focus instead on what you can control, which is doing the best that you can - the purity of your action - and the outcome will take care of itself. Live your life with the intention of making things the best that you can. Compare yourself to who you were yesterday and not to who someone else is today. This is closely related to living in a creative way, a way of looking at the world and wanting it to be the best that it can be, and doing the best that you can to make the best that it can be.
