Address Problems at the Root Cause Level

Solving problems at the results level is temporary. In order to sustainably solve a problem, you need to solve the problem at the root cause level. Find the root cause rather than focusing on the symptoms.

What are the incentives or influences that lead to the outcome? What underlying structure influences the outcome? What is the root cause that leads to the outcome?
